I have got a question as anyone can answer please. Is it BT49-qt-9 and Bt50-qt-9 are same model? If you got to bikesure.co.uk to insure your bike, u can find model only bt50-qt-9; but not bt49-qt-9 Best regards Zakir

I have a strange issue most days the bike is quite sluggish and just about gets to 30mph, but every now and then when I pull off it pulls off slower than usual to about 15mph then i get a nice speed boost and the bike will fly up to 38/40mph, i do get more revs when this happens so i am guessing its a gear change but thats not all sometimes if i go over a slight bump in the road this increase of speed sometimes happens again. Could this be the gears or something to do with the vario? I am not very mech-minded but willing to give it a go. so far I have changed engine and gear oils,
Hope you can help, I have a baotian BT49QT-11(retro one) which I have had for a week!!!! First 3/4 days, it went like a dream Then........ Basically it won't start, well not every time, maybe it will go once in 20. I have tried the electric start and I have tried the kick start. There is just nothing when I press the start button. I don't know if its the starter, as you are probably aware I know diddly squat about these, so any help would be appreciated.
Check that when you start you do not put the side stand down. Use WD40 on your leads and plugs to drive out moisture. It will start soon, Be patient- I had a same problem when I bought mine. Best regards
I have encountered a problem with my BT49QT-9 scoot. I have owned it for about 8 months now with no probs what so ever, but the last couple of days on my commute to work there seems to be a problem with a loss of power at full throttle. I have been happily cruising along at 45mph on the flat for months and am still able to get upto 45 mph no probs, but after riding at 45mph at full throttle for all of a minute there is a sudden lack of power and i lose all drive and have to come to stand still. Once I have stopped and get the power back and I am able to drive off again. The strange thing is though if I ride at about 90% throttle around 38mph the bike is fine and do not lose power at all. Any Ideas?
It sounds like the float chamber in the carb is filling to slow most likely caused by a blocked fuel filter or blocked filter in the fuel tank. best of luck LES.
