Bought the QT50 Monday. Drove it away and left hand wing mirror came loose. Wednesday morning the right hand wing mirror came loose. Tightened both up, but now the headlight is not working!Does anybody know: 1. where the fuse is located? 2. how to access the headlight area in order to change the lightbulb? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Cheers. Gareth

The fuse should be in a fuse carrier sat on top of the battery, the battery is under a flip up cover that is under the mat that covers the foot board.blue

Hi all... forget the last two messages as I have just read through all the discussions and found the information I needed! Thank god for the internet - was thinking I wouldnt be able to get a manual anywhere!! :-)) Am very interested in de-restricting and will have ago this coming weekend although I got mine new a couple of weeks ago and managed 35mph without problems on its first run. Good to hear that the fuel indicator is a popular problem as its the same on mine - will just keep an eye on the mileage and top up when required. I just want to thank everyone who has consistantly provided information on here as it has been really informative for me and cant wait to start tinkering. :-)) cheers xx

HiI've just bought BT50QT-9 and I'm interesting in two things about starting. 1. Is it enough just to push the starting button to start the engine? (without adding extra gas) 2. Do I have to move the main foot up when starting the engine using starting grip Thanks

Hi there I have some advice for registeriing the scooter yourself. I bought mine from Trade Imports UK in London. Their instructions for registering were not concise. I will help you now to do this ! You need to register at your local DVLA office found on the DVLA webs ite. You will need to send a cheque for £53 pounds. (This is £38 registering fee and £15 road tax for 12 months) They need two forms of ID from you ,one being driver's lisense / passport/ birth certificate etc , and the other type in addition to be sent is a utility bill / bank statement with your address on it. You will need to send the certificate of conformity ( the small hologramed green card) The V55/4 document ( fill in questions 42 and 43). You will need also to send the C&E389 commercial import form. (fill in acquirer's details) You will also need to send an insurance cover note. You can provide the insurance company when arranging your insurance with the last 6 digits of the chassis number until you het your V5 registration document returned by the DVLA with your new bike reg. number.Hope this helps ? Any questions please ask !
