I've had 2 AX GT's, The first was a Gun Metal H reg that burst into flames at a set of traffic lights in Teddington just B4 I got around to moding it. The second one I got was a low millage red greg beauty, 1 women lady owner in mint condition. I turned it into a beast ( Ported gas flowed head, Kent sports cam, Jan speed mani n full exhaust, twin webber 45's, Spax lowerd suspension 30fr 60bk, Strut prace, 15" compomotives with Yoko AVS's. just when I got all that done I lost my licence..........four years later when I could be bothered to pull the car covers back. (It was only a year ban but after w while I couldnt be arsed to drive until a year ago). It needed a new bat, (which I took out b4 storage) and a new starter motor. After refilling all the fluids and cleaning the sparks I turned the key, I really didnt expect anything to happen but the beast is back. Gave it a full service and now its better than ever. I should have sold the thing ages ago but that cars got my soul in it and I had to keep it in storage. I forgot how good it is to give it a damn good thrashing down a country lane! AXGT... awsome car for speedy fun.
