I have an Elddis Crusader Super Storm 1997 and the water heater is no longer working on gas. I have checked the power supply to the control box and the current is getting there (a full 12v too), although only the green light was staying on. Since checking the wiring and removing the control box now I also have the yellow light coming as well. Any suggestions as to next steps? The control module was replaced in 2002 during the annual service and the control box and burner are all dry and not rusty or damp. The gas is also getting through to the unit but obviously not to the burner. Many thanks Chris
I have a Cascade Mark 1 water heater. The ingnition won't stop striking after lighting the flame. Everything else seems to work as it should. After the water is hot the gas the heater stops (after ~ 20min). I could ignore this failure, but I am afraid that the ignition might be pass away soon, if I don't fix this problem. What could be the reason for that and is there a simple workaround e.g. breaking the circuit of the ignition by installing a switch to the blue (or green) wire? Regards, Stefan
I have a problem with the Carver P4 blown Air Heater in my camper. It runs fine producing lots of hot air, but when I turn it off it goes into a cycle where it blowns for a sec and then stops for 2 to 3 secs. It does this for ever, long after the heater has cooled down, the only way to stop it is to power it down. Can you help please? Andy

Me too: I posted a message on Sunday - just waiting to see what Gary thinks! My guess is that its a new module needed??? We'll wait and see! Chris
This is a query about a very old (1983 or so) Trumastore B0 10litre water heater. It runs on gas only and developed a leak in the tank. I silver soldered the pipes up and all is well there, but it seems that the thermocouple which inserts into a blind tube in the tank has corroded and the wires have crumbled apart. Do you -or does anyone for that matter - know of any way that I can find a replacement or at least what the spec for it is so I might be able to replace or repair it?
New to the forum. Is it possible to search the forum for previously answered questioned on Carver Turbo 5500 Fan Master. I have an ignition problem. Thanks Dave B Adverts Currently On Preloved - Place an ad here for free
I am a new member, like many others I have a problem with my water heater on gas So I have read hours of preloved carver problems, I would like a copy of the carver cascade ge you posted (havn't seen this anywhere else) your posting is fairly small and may be harder to read if increased in size to fit A4 paper, before I remove the gas end (poor eyesight and all that) Many Thanx for any help/links for that print out Mel
this has consequently been leaking and has caused problems with the module etc. i find myself in a position of needing another complete unit, however my cylinder is an electric cylinder. will the electric cylinder be interchangable with a gas only unit??? hope someone will be able to inform me if this is possible.
Can you please advise where the thermal cut-out is on a carver fanmaster warm air fan heater. The heater works fine on gas but there is no heat on electric. I've followed the fault diagnosis flow diagram and it's getting 240 volts and the next step is to check the thermal cut out but I don't know where to find it. Cheers Linda
as eney one got a diagram for the carver heater p4 air
Our water heater is a Truma Therm that only delivers about 5 litres of hot water, I have thought about addind a Carver Cascade in series with it giving me an additional 7 litres of hot water.Has anyone done this ? or see any problems with the idea ?
The truma therme is a pressure free boiler, where the carver cascade is pressurized. Because of this the therme must not be used with a one way valve, but the carver cascade has one built in. If the therme was connected to the pump first, it may be OK, but if the therme was connected after the carver cascade, pressure would build up in it, which could cause damage.
