I passed my old K-reg Citroen Avantage on to my Dad, but now he's had work done on it and the radio needs to be restarted, and of course neither of us can find the code. Could any kind person help? The following numbers are on the radio; Blaupunkt BP1760BO256129 CITROEN A NON ARI PFI(A) CE 1990 7641 760 094 Does this mean anything to anybody? I'd be really grateful if you can help. Thanks in anticipation, Sue
Your code should be either 4983 or 0983, it depends whether your radio will only accept a 0 or 1 as its first digit. Hope this works
I send you e-mail in your web site did you take it? I removed that chip(93c46) and I send you.
It's a Philips model Model Number: 22RC46535S Any help appreciated.

I tried what you said and entered the code when i got --- using blank as a the first zero. When entered i pressed the fifth button to "return" and the radio worked but doesnt save the entered code so when i switch off the ignition i lose it again and it returns to ---. Also there's a beep sound every few seconds when the radio is on. I am trying to leave power on for a while and see if it returns to code rather than --- as when it was working it used to come on reading code and then go into the radio stations but now it just comes on with --- hope you can help Sue
If radio is losing it's code when you turn off the ignition, then I would think that it has lost it's memory feed (permanent live) fuse blown ?. What work was done to vehicle prior to losing radio. Dave

Try
Citroen want them to go to see them (they dont have time and dont drive the car) and then pay for the code. My parents are mad!! Anyway, i have a feeling you won't solve this one for me, because the other 2/3 people with this Clarion haven't got anywhere, but i do hop you can. Here are the bits and pieces. PU 2294B(D)
I (when it goes off error) will try 4654 abd 4362. Have any of you mightily helpful souls got any other ideas? Thanks in advance. Will
If only one then your code should be 4656, but you say you have already tried that. Dave
The thing is, i found elsewhere on the 'net that for the Clarion decoder to work then it needs to be a serial that starts C700000 then 4 digits at the end. It's really beginning to annoy me because i wanna play some music when im driving! And if we end up going to citroen my parents are going to go mental! They think citroen have a legal obligation to give you the code when you buy the car. Although that would be nice i severely doubt that otherwise they wouldn't have got awaywith charging people for so long!!
Is this number correct (especially the last four) :CL040210623428 as this is the number I have used to get your code. Dave
Thanks for trying Dave!
