Can anyone help me with the radio code for a PHILIPS 22DC785/33F PH 7850V1178913
General info on radio codes- Citroen don't make radios, they just put their brand on radios made by others. Don't bother posting the model of your car. No one can figure out what your radio code is from that. Radios are coded individually. Codes only work for the one radio, not for all the radios of that make or model. To find out the code you need the serial number. Not the model number or the part number. As there are several numbers on a radio, you should probably post them all to make sure the right one is included. You will need to remove the radio from the dash to get the serial number, and probably to find out what make and model it is. Instructions for removing your radio, by model of car, can be had for free here: Blaupunkt radio codes can usually be derived from the serial number by software, but NOT radios made by Grundig, Clarion, or Philips. These have to be looked up by someone that has access to the database. It is better to get your Citroen dealer to look up the code than go to the online decoding sites. Some dealers charge for this service, maybe as much as an online decoding company, but your chance of come-back is better if it doesn't work. Blaupunkt serial numbers begin with BP. Clarions usually begin with CL. Grundigs begin with GR. Phillips begin with PH. If you don't have a BP number, you will not get a code here. Repeat- Codes can be calculated for Blaupunkt radios with serial numbers starting with "BP". Other makes with "CL", "GR", "PH" and so on, no, sorry.
blaupunt PU-2294A(C) CL0401Y0468953 have 2 codes 3238 0386 hope their right only problem cannot enter them on unit...on error 12 now... dont want to lock it any help thanks
Apparently you did not read the post immediately before your own. That isn't a Blaupunkt.
my problem is trying to enter the code... i assumed pressing 1 gave me 0 to 9 & pressing 2 gives me the same and so on... but if i press 1 say 3 times just gives me 111 on the screen.. have i missed something... i'm sure my 01 saxo didnt give me this much greif.. thanks
Blaupunkt code entry sequences won't work because the radio is a Clarion. You can get the right instructions for free from this site: http://www.car-audio-accessories.co.uk/code-entry-help.php You will need your model number, the one that begins with PU. For your model number you simply enter the code by pressing the preset keys, 1 for 1, 5 for 5, and so on for each digit. Assuming you actually have the right code.
I have 2 Citroen Xantia's Blaupunkt radios. And codes missing, of course. 1. 4030 Blaupunkt BP2490P7387133 2. 3030 Blaupunkt BP2775S9463891 Please help me! :)
Somehow I am not comfortable with the idea that you are seeking codes for two radios. Don't quite know why it bothers me more than if it were just one, but anyway, since you are dealing in bulk, you might as well get your own decoder. One usable program to do this can be found here: http://www.eserviceinfo.com/downloadsm/2109......_blaupunkt.html The software only wants part of the number beginning with BP. Essentially you want the last ten digits of this number ignoring the letter in the middle, the "BP" at the beginning, and the digit after the "BP". It will decode various Blaupunkt models, not just the Citroen ones. Be aware that there is a lot of useless, even fake, decoding software on the net.
I think it is a phillips - model 22rc465/35 serial no PHACDFW8037527
I have just purchased a Citroen Xantia, the guy i bought it off re-fitted the stereo for me and gave me the code but we couldnt get the stereo to accept it. When turned on the stereo displays the word "code", i can type the code in by pressing the numbers "1 to 4" the relevant number of times needed for each number in the code as you probably already know. The problem is once the code is typed in how do you get the stereo to accept it, ive tried pressing every button! Please help Adverts Currently On Preloved - Place an ad here for free
Press and hold the 5th button until the code is accepted.
Depends on the model (of the radio, not the car) which you have omitted from your post. Here are a couple of common methods, useless unless you happen to have one of these models: Blaupunkt Citroen PF1(A) Citroen code entry instructions- Turn on radio, the display will show "COD" (or CODE) Press preset [1] repeatedly for the first digit (blank for zero) Finally press the [station +] button to save (or station ^) Blaupunkt Citroen PH1\C Citroen code entry instructions Turn on radio, the display will show "CODE". Press any station preset key and the display will show "0000". Press preset [1] repeatedly for the first digit Finally press the [preset 6] button to save. Radio will show CODE briefly then operate.

Radio model is PU-2294A ( c ) Serial no. is CL0401Z0491781 And there is also another (unknown) no. 96 392 195 80 Also at the moment i am getting 5 error on the screen any idea what this is many thanks
Otherwise it is a trip to the Main Dealer or Google for a Decode Specialist The 5 error means that your radio has had wrong codes entered. Leave it switched ON UNDISTURBED until it resets <i>brooks Joined 11 Sep 2008 Radio model is PU-2294A ( c ) Serial no. is CL0401Z0491781 And there is also another (unknown) no. 96 392 195 80 Also at the moment i am getting 5 error on the screen any idea what this is many thanks </i>
IS THERE ANY WAY YOU COULD HELP ME GET A CODE FOR THE CD RADIO
Mike
This probably means there is no power to the line that keeps the code "alive" when the ignition is off (there is more than one power connection to coded radios). Dodgy connection somewhere, good luck finding it!
