charlie-

For that serial number I get codes 5391, 1391, or 0141.

Blaupunkt Citroen PF1(A) Citroen code entry instructions-
(very similar for PF1(B) and RDS models)

Turn on radio, the display will show "COD" (or CODE)

Press preset [1] repeatedly for the first digit (blank for zero)
Press preset [2] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [3] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [4] repeatedly for the fourth digit

Finally press the [station +] button to save (or station ^)

Kenny-

That is a Clarion radio. Most of these cannot be decoded by software (at least any available to amateurs), but those with a C7000000 number are supposedly decodable by a program once supplied by Carl Bulger, but no longer supported. I have tried this program before and it did not work on that occasion. However, here is the code it generates for your C7 serial number: 4233. If in fact it is supposed to use other serial number, the code it gives for that is 3644.

Hi Morganwq
Thank you for responding so quickly with those codes.
My preset button 1 only lets me enter 1 or blank...so i tried 1391 and 0141 but they didnt work (remembered to do ^ for enter). I also stupidly paid citroen dealer £17 for code 1176 that didn't work either (before I found your site). Now think my radio code must have been reprogrammed so may have to take it to someone to reset?!!
Thanks for your time
charlotte

The Clarion Barcode Serial number calculator DOES provide working codes , providing you do have a barcode serial number beginning with C7000000++++.... so using C70000003665 the code should definitely be 4233. ( as it can also be calculated using paper+pencil)

Try asking here as they can sometimes give further free advice when you meet this sort of problem

As you have nothing to lose , try 1411

If not , then I wonder if you have entered too many wrong codes and your radio is semi-locked.

Try leaving it SWITCHED ON...UNDISTURBED for as long as possible and it may reset itself...allowing you to enter the three codes that Morganwq first gave you ( they are the usual BP/Citroen codes)

ok red rooster will try it! Wonder how long u mean for it to be switched on!!? Hours...a whole day?? it shows --- when first switched on then COD after bout an hour... will try leaving it on for longer. I have probably tried entering wrong codes 10 times including doing ^enter, don't think I,ve done it 30 times like mentioned earlier on your site!
Thank you!

Charlie-

What you describe is the semi-locked condition. The "---" display is locked; you need to wait for "cod" to enter numbers. This wait is to discourage more guessing. Too many more erroneous entries and it may lock for good.

If you have read any of the previous messages then you would have realised that your radio is a CLARION and this board deals mainly with the BLAUPUNKT make fitted into a Citroen.

The only CLARION code that can be calculated for free anywhere on the Internet is if you have a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C70000000 ----

Otherwise it`s a visit to the Main Dealer or Decode Specialist.(or local Car Radio Shop)

Fish-

For that serial number I get codes 7702, 1702, or 0157.

There are a lot of code calculators for Blaupunkt radios about, but most of them are not suitable for Citroen models. One that is can be found at:
