Thanks, I will clear out the model of the radio, and I've left the radio on. Lets see what will happen.

For that serial number I get codes 1476 or 0170.

To unblock the radio, leave it turned on for about an hour.

Don't know about spheres. If this is something to do with the trick suspension some Citroens have, then I would never have one of those. I only buy used, cheap, and diesel, and I am running mostly on vegetable oil. I even bought my spare keys second hand.

Ive read some more pages in the forum and to what I under stand you are supposed to leave the radio switched on for about an hour, then the error message clears then the dashes return, then u enter the code with numbers 1-4 on teh preset buttons. Havent seen anything that talks about error codes dissapearing yet. Took the battery out for a couple of hours and that didn't change the situation either. Can some body help plz!!! lol

READ BEFORE POSTING

This information has been posted many times. If you do not read it, you will be wasting your time.

Citroen don't make radios, they just put their brand on radios made by others. Don't bother posting the model of your car. No one can figure out what your radio code is from that. Radios are coded individually. Codes only work for the one radio, not for all the radios of that make or model. To find out the code you need the serial number. Not the model number or the part number. As there are several numbers on a radio, you should probably post them all to make sure the right one is included.

You will need to remove the radio from the dash to get the serial number, and probably to find out what make and model it is. Instructions for removing your radio, by model of car, can be had for free here:

http://www.fitaudio.com/

Blaupunkt radio codes can usually be derived from the serial number by software, but NOT radios made by Grundig, Clarion, or Philips. These have to be looked up by someone that has access to the database. It is better to get your Citroen dealer to look up the code than go to the online decoding sites. Some dealers charge for this service, maybe as much as an online decoding company, but your chance of come-back is better if it doesn't work. Blaupunkt serial numbers begin with BP. Clarions usually begin with CL. Grundigs begin with GR. Phillips begin with PH. If you don't have a BP number, you will not get a code here.

Some visitors have reported that Phillips codes can be got at:

http://www.tinyurl.com/222codes

Rarely, Clarion radios have a serial number beginning C70000. There is a decoder that is supposed to work with these serial numbers, though I have had no luck with it. If your Clarion has such a serial number, then post it and I will give it a try.

Repeat- Codes can be calculated for Blaupunkt radios with serial numbers starting with "BP". Other makes with "CL", "GR", "PH" and so on, no, sorry.

You should have read the previous message before posting,.

The only CLARION radio that can be decoded for free is if you have a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000++++
