the number is 7 641 760 394 serial bp1760x2108817
For that serial number I get codes 0789 or 0649.
thanks very much
Did you press the [station +] button to save (or station ^) after entering the numbers? If that isn't the problem, then it sounds like you have a bad connection in the power connector or elsewhere. There is a line to the radio that is constantly powered to keep the code alive, i.e. doesn't go through the ignition switch like the operating power..
thanks for replying i did press the 5 button 0n the radio to save the code and i have checked the blade fuse which comes from the battery the red one seams ok but the black wire fuse looks to be blown i tried the motor shop for some but can only get 5amp the fuse whats in is only 2amp so i will try somewere else for them as i think 5amp might be to high i will let you know when i get some fuse's thanks jobie
i have now changed both fuse,s and i have put 2amp mini blade fuse,s in and now it works perfect the mini fuse seams to fit better and i did save it by pressing the ^ button thanks for all your help jobie

This information has been posted here many times. If you do not read it, you will be wasting your time. Citroen don't make radios, they just put their brand on radios made by others. Don't bother posting the model of your car. No one can figure out what your radio code is from that. Radios are coded individually. Codes only work for the one radio, not for all the radios of that make or model. To find out the code you need the serial number. Not the model number or the part number. As there are several numbers on a radio, you should probably post them all to make sure the right one is included. You will need to remove the radio from the dash to get the serial number, and probably to find out what make and model it is. Instructions for removing your radio, by model of car, can be had for free here: Blaupunkt radio codes can usually be derived from the serial number by software, but NOT radios made by Grundig, Clarion, or Philips. These have to be looked up by someone that has access to the database. It is better to get your Citroen dealer to look up the code than go to the online decoding sites. Some dealers charge for this service, maybe as much as an online decoding company, but your chance of come-back is better if it doesn't work. Blaupunkt serial numbers begin with BP. Clarions usually begin with CL. Grundigs begin with GR. Phillips begin with PH. If you don't have a BP number, you will not get a code here. Some visitors have reported that Phillips codes can be got at: http://www.tinyurl.com/222codes Rarely, Clarion radios have a serial number beginning C70000. There is a decoder that is supposed to work with these serial numbers, though I have had no luck with it. If your Clarion has such a serial number, then post it and I will give it a try. Repeat- Codes can be calculated for Blaupunkt radios with serial numbers starting with "BP". Other makes with "CL", "GR", "PH" and so on, no, sorry.
I have just replaced the battery on my Berlingo, only to discover that I don't have the radio code. Could anyone help with this please. Many thanks! The radio specs are - PHACFF19262194
You really ought to read the READ BEFORE POSTING message posted regularly by morganwg on this forum. Yes...the previous message to yours! There you will see that this forum mainly supplies BLAUPUNKT codes ...and for other makes (including PHILIPS) it advises other sources. This will save wasting YOUR time...and more importantly OURS !
Typical scenario Google and find a forum Cheerio ! Just in case you still haven`t read the regularly posted message, it suggests trying http://www.tinyurl.com/222codes for your Philips codes. You see , on this Citroen forum we try to be helpful ...even though it can sometimes be exasperating . Ask morganwg who posts the regular message {:o) Good luck in your search
====================================================== For PHILIPS codes ask here http://www.tinyurl.com/222codes How to extract your radio see this video showing how to remove your radio from the dashboard. A pair of extractors are required (available from Ebay , Halfords ) but these can be made from 2 pieces of bent, wire coat-hanger or 4 small drills(using the blunt end) or 4 small Allen Keys or 4 small screwdrivers or 4 nails or even 4 darts. An assistant is useful to pull the radio out whilst you are releasing the 4 securing clips http://www.fitaudio.com/videos/din_keys......o_din_size.html
I'm afraid the problem is that new posters arrive at the early pages, dating from 2004 or thereabouts. They probably even read some of those posts, hence the frequent pleas to "Les" to help them. I wonder if he regrets posting his telephone number? There is nothing obvious there to tell them that the posts are long dead, unless they actually look at the dates, and apparently they don't. Unfortunately there is no way we can place a big message in capital letters at the beginning of the forum to tell them to go to the end and catch up here. So this will happen over and over. I see no reason to worry about it, or do anything else about it either.
Just Wondering If Anyone Can Help Philips Please Help :o) - In Need Of Code :o)
