Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.
(There are usually two barcodes on one label. The one required is the lower one )

There is a 20% chance of you having this barcode Serial Number

If not then you will have to try your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service

Quote the radio make+model plus all the letters+numbers found on any barcodes, labels or engraved in the metal casing ....and hopefully someone on here will be able to provide the code.(but read the READ BEFORE POSTING message posted on here at regularly intervals to see whether the code will be readily available)

Hi, I'm new here but have the same problems as most guys, I need a radio code!

The radio was reset by those helpful chaps at Kwik-Fit!!!
Anyway, the numbers on the radio are:

BP2775T9626143
7642775394
and the number ontop of the unit is 9613345780

The radio is a Blaupunkt PH1/C

Any help greatly appreciated as I have already tried 2 codes (7685, 1685) neither have worked and I don't want to lock it up!!!

Hi,
I have a Citroen ZX with Blaupunkt radio, which the previous owner lost the code for.
It's got a serial number of BP5761T7000770
and part number 7645761394.
Can anyone try it in a decoder programme please?
I've tried a couple of downloadable 'free' decoder programmes, but they turn out to be spyware or worse.
Many thanks!

CynthiaZX-

For that serial number I get codes 2739, 0739, or 0170.

The decoder I use can be found here:

http://www.eserviceinfo.com/downloadsm/2109......_blaupunkt.html

The software only wants part of the number beginning with BP. Essentially you want the last ten digits of this number ignoring the letter in the middle, the "BP" at the beginning, and the digit after the "BP".

Thanks Morgan. 2739 worked first time! Brilliant!
I downloaded the application too just to see and it gave the same results. Although I wouldn't have known which parts of the S/N to ignore if you hadn't explained it.
Thanks again!!

Hi, I have a clarion radio in my Citreon xantia (ser. No. CL 0321X0034070), and from threads on this forum, I find that I have to contact somebody with the hard copy data, to get the code. Is this correct? Also has anybody dealt with, SWS Solutions in Crawley? They say that they can supply the code for £20. I'd be grateful for any answers to the above. Many thanks,A

I know nothing about SWS, but in general would suggest that your local Citroen dealer would be able to provide the code at the least cost. Some of them have been known to do it free.

As for online decoding sites, I fear some of them give out rubbish, then when it doesn't work, you may be told you need to send the radio in to them for re-coding. That was probably true from the off, but they give "instant" codes to suck you in. You have a better chance of getting your money back from a local garage.

For less than 20 quid, you could buy a scrapyard Citroen Blaupunkt radio and get the code for free.

Hi to Morganwg, sound advice, many thanks. My nearest garage is 180mls away (one way!). I'll go the blaupunkt route.

Thanks again A

Your radio is made by Grundig and I don`t think your code will be available from this forum.
