..the second code didn't work either so let's hope it's third time lucky.. if that fails I guess that means the radio is screwed..

thanks for all your help.

Stuber-

The codes I posted are only for a Citroen branded Blaupunkt with the serial you posted. If the radio is from a different vehicle, the codes won't be useful. Other than that, I would wonder if you are entering them in the approved manner, for instance:

Blaupunkt Citroen PF1(A) Citroen code entry instructions-
(very similar for PF1(B) and RDS models)

Turn on radio, the display will show "COD" (or CODE)

Press preset [1] repeatedly for the first digit (blank for zero)
Press preset [2] repeatedly for the second digit
Press preset [3] repeatedly for the third digit
Press preset [4] repeatedly for the fourth digit

Finally press the [station +] button to save (or station ^)

Hi
Well, none of the codes work so I'm guessing that the radio is stuffed. As far as I know the radio is an orginal Citroen Blaupunkt radio - it certainly is marked as such.

The instruction to enter the code in the manual is similar to those you posted, exept you have to hit preset 6 to set the radio rather than station +

Regards

Stuber

Before giving up, can you double check and make sure that you have quoted all the correct letters+numbers.

Quote all the letters+numbers found on any labels, barcodes or stamped in the metal casing....including the one beginning with 7*** *** ***

Post everything you can find

Thanks redrooster.. here is every number i can find..

Blaupunk PH1/C 96 133 457 80

BP2775T9620475

7 642 775 394

960

And on two labels on the back:

0175

0579
S(could be 5 or 8)551
8511

Could these last numbers actually be the codes for the radio??

Thanks all

Stuber

Answer for :Stuber

1...The codes you were already given by Morganwg are the correct options of ex-factory codes. 9061/1061/0374

2...The PH1/C code entry instructions you are using are correct

( assuming that the display says CODE when you start?)

It now looks as either the radio is faulty (not accepting codes ) or more likely it has been recoded in the past to a completely different number.

The only solution is to take it into a Decode Service or local Car Radio / Audio Shop so that they can connect a laptop to read/recode the memory chip (EEPROM) in your radio....or buy another radio with a code

Same answer as the previous query

Your radio is made by CLARION and the only CLARION code available for free (using a serial number ) from anywhere on the Internet is if your radio also has a BARCODE SERIAL NUMBER beginning with
C7000000 + + + + on a label somewhere on the metal casing.

If not then it will only be available from your Main Dealer or a Decoding Service

Ok thank you very much for your quick reply. I thought this may be the case as I have been quoted £20, just thought there may have been a cheaper option, may aswell buy a new radio lol.
