Hi well the radio you have said is in fact a unit that holds the code within an eeprom chip this is a special configeration chip type 93c46 special therfore it is not possible for you to code it for yourself there is also no No code cypher available for this unit so it is a bit difficult the chip is on the main pcb and is a small 8 pin smd device with 93c46 stamped on it if you know any elect engineers good with a soldering iron you could remove the chip and post it to me and i can program you in a code other than that it needs to be sent of as a unit for re-programming .

hope this helps regards Les

I have just aquired a Xantia, I have the radio code but all that comes up is a series of dashes, no matter what I do, nothing changes the dashes, I've disconnected the battery for a night, but still just dashes, any ideas?

Hi! Can any one help? The battery on my 97 citroen saxo sx recently went flat. Having charged this successfully my radio is now demanding a code to work. I have searched high and low for a code but do not have one. Does any one know what to do - how to get code etc?

Hi,

I'd really appreciate a copy of the app you have to work out the code for my 95 Xantia. I'm sure I've worked it out before, but its stumped me this time.

Thanks

Steve

Help!

I had the battery disconnected from my 2000 Citroen Zara estate and, despite having and entering the code it won't accept it and just reverts to the dashed screen. I have followed the instructions in the radio handbook (that's how desperate its got!), and I can't work out where I am going wrong. The code was passed on by the dealer, but all other details/codes he has passed on were correct so I have no reason to believe the radio code provided is not the correct one. Any suggestions?

Hi Les,

Thanks for the quick response. I've got a PU-9667a stereo with a serial no of CL 0136R0056599 and I've lost the old serial no. Any help would be appreciated.

if the stereo comes up with ---- this means the incorrect code has been entered . you need to leave it plugged into the car with the igniton on for about 20 mins.
as soon as the time is up the words code come on the screen as
far as i can remember.
the stereo decoding software is available from me .
just post up and ask for it.

its worked with a citroen xantia clarion stereo i had.
i also have the xantia booklet on how to enter the codes once you have them as there are 3 different stereos in the xantias
if you want help removing a stereo
